graphical problem

Bought the game today,
installation/startup was fine, but when i got further in the game I could only see 3 to 5 units(depending on video resolution) in the game screen making it impossible to access other ones (i had army of 7 units)

same was when choosing unit upgrades,thoe there was a scrollbar to scroll down but i could only accept the one that was below accept button
in the image you can also see that unit upgrade list is out of bounds

game has latest version,
latest video drivers,
Windows XP Pro

Direct X 9.0c fully compatible

PC

512 ram

It looks like, for some reason, the size of fonts is being reported incorrectly. It's something I've seen before, but only on Russian drivers for another graphics card.

We will try and come up with a workaround for you.

win XP is fully English,
I tried changing font size under /UI but there are just too many places to find the correct file which need's to be modified

Who did you buy it from and where? The shops are not allowed to sell until Friday this week. We need to find out so we can let our publisher know someone has released early.

Bought it in Latvia
Local PC shop (yes, it is not yet available to all buyers)
price was around 29$
is there a workaround to my problem ? If not I have still 2 days to return the game

Latvia is only being supplied Russian language versions of the game by Akella. Unfortunately this means your copy is either an illegal grey import or a pirated version. Either way I'd reccomend you take it back and get a full refund and let the shop know that what they are doing is illegal. The Russian version will be gold mastering very soon and you should get this when it is available from Akella. This version will be compatible with Russian PC's and fonts.

Returning the illegal copy is really appreciated as this really hurts a small developer like us
