Changing Forum Password

Post by Zitadelle »

I want to change my password.

So I go to User Control Panel / Profile / Edit Account Settings.

This takes me to the signup page!?? :?:

Is it ok then, to put in you details with your new password and press submit, or will it mess up my account?

Also, can you change your username as this page implies, or must you put in your old username?

Hi zitadelle,

The forum and website are not fully connected so, even if you are logged in into the forum, you probably aren't in the website.
If you see the sign up page with blank fields there, it means you are not logged in into the main website.

To change your password, you should go in the website (http://www.slitherine.com), click on login (at the top menu) and put your account information there (the same of this forum).
If you logged in successfully, you'll see a 'my page' button in the home page (http://www.slitherine.com).
In this section, you can edit your details and change your password as well, except for username which can't be changed.

Let me know if you have any issue.

Thanks petirouge.

All sorted.
