Gameplay request

I see a lot of suggestions for the strategy/tactical/warfare part, I would like to concentrate on some gameplay elements that I would like to have:

- Real time battle/turn replay: I would be cool to look at the replay of the battle with all units moving simultaneously, it may be tricky to sync all animations and time but I don't think many turn based games have done something similar (Frozen Synapse style).

- More actions for units: More actions or control of actions for units, for example don't use explosives next turn, infantry entrenchment, the snipers and commandos from expansions give a lot of variety.

- No animation option or fast animations: To allow playing big battles without having to wait too long for turns

- Find a way to avoid the safety of moving close to the edges of the map: Not sure how to avoid this, but as the maps have hard limits it gives an advantage to be close to the edges...

Interesting thoughts. I can say that realtime replay won't happen :), it's just too far from the way the model works currently. We are looking at changing the way replays work, but so far haven't come up with an elegant solution that would allow (e.g.) fast forwarding of the kind you suggest.
