Severe problem

''Panzer Corps'' doesnt work on my computer. When I play suddenly all the map's colours turn to pink and my whole system freezes... and then appears the windows blue screen... Why? ...Its not my computer's problem since I play Total War; NBA 2k13 ; Pro Evollution Soccer and many other games in this computer with no problem
My System is:
OS: Win XP, 32-Bit
GPU: Nvidia Geforce 8800 GT 512 MB
CPU: AMD Athlon 4800+ dual core , 2,51 GHz
RAM: 2 GB, 300 MHz

Well, that's a new one. Try uninstalling, and installing Panzer Corps and patch 1.11.

1. Have you any mod installed? Expansions?
2. Is it after a few turns? or after you've played more than one scenario?

Hey VPaulus... thnx a lot for your reply. I m completely new in ''Panzer Corps'' so I havent even tried to seek for any mod yet... I used to play ''Military History Commander''. I installed and reinstalled the game many times with the latest updated version 1.11 too... But this weird problem still exists... This problem happens randomly when I play the campaign... For a moment I blamed my GPU ... but how is it possible to play hard games as Total War and NBA 2k13 and not the Panzer Corps ... ??? I cant find a reason to cause this problem... Are you running full screen or a window? What colour depth is your desktop and what is the resolution? What graphics card do you have?

Do the main menus and intro movie look correct? At which point exactly does it go wrong?

Hallo mr.McNeil!! I use full screen to play... the colour depth is 32 bit ... I have this problem with any resolution ..I ve checked it... I have the NVIDIA Geforce 8800 GT 512 MB ... I have no problem with the intros or the main menu...this weird problem happens only in the battlemap when I play ... I really cannot imagine what causes this problem... since I have not any troubles with anyother game or programme...

Man0lo, BSDs (Blue Screen of Death) are usually caused by a conflict with drivers and the software running or by a defective RAM. You can test your RAM using a program like memtes86+ for example:

Rename your "Audio" subfolder to "_Audio" and play the game. You will play without audio, but this way we will see if it's realted with audio drivers, codecs or something.
Also I bet that blue screen is too quick, but do you see anything written?

Hello again!!! Finally I play ''Panzer Corps'' on another computer without any problem so far. There was probably a random weird incompatibility of the game with the system of the previous computer I was playing it. Nevermind; thanks a lot for your interest and your support!!!
