Ironclad (Arab Conquest early) 31/42 vs Rexhurley (Syrian States early) 47/42

As the Arabs advanced the Syrians primary force (mounted) launched a powerful sweeping manoeuvre around the enemy right flank outshooting their mainly foot opponents. Meanwhile a plucky group of poor Syrian foot in isolated rough terrain initially held their own against their better quality opponents before eventually breaking. The tide of battle changed when close quarters fighting increased and the Syrian mounted were forced into heavy exchange of losses as they tried to push through - finally succeeding but at a crippling cost.
