PBEM does not work

I have CEAW v1.12 and GS v2.10 downloaded from Slitherine and running in Windows 7. When I launch a Multiplayer game it shows those versions on the screen and runs correctly but when I send the file to my opponents they get the message that the files were loaded 'using a previous version' and the game does not run and I get that same message when they send files to me, but they have CEAW 1.12 and GS 2.10. I uninstalled everything and downloaded again but it has made no difference.
