Annoying hints...how to get rid of it?

Recently installed FoG on my new PC. When playing I'm pretty annoyed to see the hints at the top of the screen:

I've been too lazy to check my old PC to see if it's there but as far as I can remember there was a way to get rid of it if one wished to.
Can't find out how to do it though...am I remembering this wrong?
If not, advice on how to do it would be appriciated

In the upper right screen when in game, click "off" the "?" icon.....

Have to say ive never seen hints for a long time and there must be a key to press to get rid of them. Consider resigning because your in trouble havent seen that one though
