Beta versions of 2.0.1 FoG reader released
Hi guys
we have fixed a number of the glitches in the PC and Mac versions most especially related to downloading and registering. We are making these available for people to try out as a beta version but if all goes well we hope to make these official next week. The iPad version has been submitted to Apple and we'll release it as soon as they approve it.
PC Beta can be downloaded from:
http://www.slitherine.com/files/fog/rea ... v2.0.3.msi
Mac Beta can be downloaded from:
http://www.slitherine.com/files/fog/rea ... v2.0.3.dmg
For anyone having issues with the PC or Mac versions please give these a try and let us know if it helps. Thanks for your patience!

Re: Beta versions of 2.0.1 FoG reader released
Hi Ian
If I have this on my laptop already and it is working should I still be looking to upgrade to the newer version once it is fully tested?
Thanks
Rob

The beta does fix the inability to open the rules without an internet connection on my PC. So even if you have not had other problems with the ereader, it may be worth getting the beta.

i'm thinking of getting an ipad mini. i really don't need to be towing around the full size ipad.
will the ipad mini be large enough to see the rules on? any issues?
dave.

It will look exactly the same pixel for pixel as a normal iPad so should be fine.

Re: Beta versions of 2.0.1 FoG reader released
Is there an official release version for PC/Mac corresponding to the 2.1 iPad version? If so, what is the expected way to download the updated version? Will it just be links posted in the forum similar to those for the 2.01 beta versions of the reader?
Also, is there anyway to identify the current version of the actual FoG rules and army lists versus a reader update?

You can grab the beta version - it will be upgraded to release if all is ok but its likely there will be additional improvements as some people still have issues downloading.
