This may seem like a strange question, but is there any reason why I can't have both an IC and a TC with a BG?

This would allow me to put the TC in combat to get the quality upgrade whilst keeping the IC out of harm's way and still giving the BG the benefit of his or indeed her, additional +1 on the CT should it be required.

An expensive investment to make in one place - but is it permitted?

Probably - but only one of the generals can be counted for CTs - which should not, I think, make any difference.

Thanks Richard - just nervous about my opponent rolling that double six and depriving me of my investment of 80 AP!
