hello everybody
I have to buy the version yet(now) the game(set, play) and to download GS V.2.00 and 2.10!
To has present games(sets) walked(worked) perfectly in French but dice that I wanted to begin again a part(party), crossed(spent) the 1st tour(ballot) of game(set, play), the language(tongue) goes back in English without knowing why...
I searched everywhere on Web to find an answer has this error but me nothing is found; you are my last hope to find me the solution concerning this problem!
To play in English disturbs me not, but it is so better to play in the language(tongue) (especially that his(her, its) walking(step) but that the 1st tour(ballot) of game(set, play))!!
Thank you for your help(assistant)!

Re: problem langue française help!
Hi,
I will explain the best I can. Version 2.00 and 2.10 allow players to play their side of the turn in their language of choice.
So if you select French then the game will start as French. The other player selects another language it will take 1 turn or so to update so that you will see French and they will see as an example english.
If you opponent starts the PBEM game in English it will take 1 or 2 turns for your side of the turn to change over to French. There maybe a couple of things that are not translated, but these versions allow true language to be played different on each side as opposed to the vanilla version.
We tested the game will all of the languages that are available in the game. Remember games started with version 2.00 are not compatible with v2.10.
The default language is english.

Re: problem langue française help!
OK thank you . if I understood well, the version 2.00 is not compatible with 2.1? But what I understand not, it is that that worked in French at the beginning...
Re: problem langue française help!
Yes that is correct v2.0 is not compatible with v2.1 .
The language that you want to use will be selected when you launch the application for the first time. It will stay that way. The game creates a folder in your Documents folder named 'CEAW Grand Strategy 2.10' . Inside there is a file named 'GS210_settings.txt' . The first line sets the language.
1 - English
2 - French
3 - Italian
4 - Spanish
5 - Polish
6 - German
7 - Russian
8 - Norwegian
Before launching the application edit the first line. The game will play in the language you set.
The game will convert to the language of your opponent if different on their side of the turn.

Re: problem langue française help!
OK it is cool thank you very much I understand better now!
On the other hand I tried to change the number in this file but I do not manage to register(record) him(it): he asks me to replace this file, then I say yes, and there he says to me: refused access!
Of the blow I rename(reappoint) him(it) (GS210 settings1) and there he says to me: that I have no authorization to write in this location, consult the administrator(director) to obtain the authorization.
Given that it is me the administrator(director), I understand not why he(it) refuses me the access!

Re: problem langue française help!
Hi,
I guess there are permission problems.
Another way to change the language is to rename the folder CEAW Grand Strategy 2.10 to '0-english-CEAW Grand Strategy v2.10' this for the folder you now have that is the default language English. I suggest this so the sorting will be at the top and you know what language the folder is for. Restart the application. Since the folder does not exist it, the game will act like a new install. This time select French as your default language. You can now copy your games form the English folder (PBEM) and start the games. They may have English briefly for one or 2 turns. Then you are set.
Just to show you how the game changes from language to language is to start a PBEM game that you play both sides. You have to rename the appropriate folder to the base name 'CEAW Grand Strategy v2.10' and have the file to play in the PBEM folder. This is how I tested to see if it will work.
Have fun in your games.
