We could not find any reason to suppose that "armoured" knights moved faster than "heavily armoured" knights.
In the western world, all states changed to heavily armoured at roughly the same date (or as soon as they could get better armour), so there is no historical reason to give then "compensating" advantages. Historically, no "knights" who could afford "heavy armour" chose to stick with "armour".
Whether we have got the points right for them is another matter. This can be adjusted in due course if we find we have got them wrong.
However, I have had my heavily armoured knights ridden down by armoured - don't forget they are equal in the impact phase.
