question on Liege

Just now , in one of my present pbem on 2.1 , an interesting thing happened : After Paris conquered by Axis , Axis accepted the armtice ,France surrender & all English inside France surrender , but there is one English Gar in Liege still there . I just wonder if all English in France surrender & all English along the coast retreat to UK , will this GAR still fight in Axis conquered Belgium ? :)

Probably the script counts France only and any unit in Belgium (or other country) will stay. I think I had the same situation when my English GARs on the Beligan coast stayed there when France surrendered.
Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few.

Yes , I agree this is not a bug . But I just wonder if it is reasonable ?
