Thank you for purchasing the Rise of Rome army companion for the Field of Glory 2.0 reader. To download your army book, run the Field of Glory 2.0 reader application and select the Rise of Rome army book and click download.

Youll be asked to enter your e-mail address you placed teh order with and your serial number. Once validated youll be able to download your army companion. Your army companion is valid for PC and Mac.

You can find your serial number in your order confirmation mail.

I'm no technical wizard but the download isn't available until October 18th so it is no surprise you are having problems.

Wait until the 18th and stop trying to open your presents early.

So we are, and there is no more wizard, technical or others, in The Empire... they all failed there load and reload exam and... die!

We knew for the starting date october 18th, but yesterday evening We was looking for news on the Slitering website and find this PC/Mac Download Rise of Rome link (http://slitherine.com/fog20armies)... and bought it!
And We received a message from this roman, Pilmus, that never tell Us to wait, on his first message or following ones... never mind The Emperor NEVER WAIT!

But if you tell so, We are going to imagine that this loading is a birthday present witch arrive late ... and "wait" one day after Our birthday!

The original abannan version of their PC/MAC reader is available now for free on the abannan web site. While this appears to be intended the general solution for content available through abannan, I don't know if that would let you access your copy of RoR before the Slitherine Field of Glory Reader (and V2 rules) is available. I have the abannan reader installed but don't see a reason to give Slitherine my money early just to see it it will work. It is nice to see that the PC?MAC version is valid for both platforms. Unfortunately due to Apple licensing restrictions, buying the iPAD version doesn't license it for any other platform.

Hi guys,

please don't try and buy anything yet. It looks like a link got out that should not have on the armies page.

It will allow you to buy Rise of Rome but you cant do anything with the army book until you have the base reader and rules to open them. Don;t worry though - just save this info and enter it in the reader when you get it. It will work.

On Thursday the base FoG 2.0 reader will release and you can see all your content! Please don't try and buy anything till then.
