AK - Italian Tanks. Worth Keeping?

In my game, I kept both of my Italian tanks all the way until I upgraded them into pathers with overstrength units. I like to keep some of the Italian units because I think they work different ways than the Germans. Thus I had so many heros on the Italian side than the Germans so I used them to guard or cover flanks while I use the Germans to fight where the battle is the most thickest.
