Thats ok Rex :) Good luck to you both the winner goes into the Grand final agaist the winner between me and Rom1944.

That would make your game a battle of the Kiwis. Cant say North vs South as i dont know where you are both in Newzealand,no doubt it will be an Epic though as you both have Horde armies. :P

It's the Naki (Rex) vs the Capital (Massina_nz) - on the weekend the Wellington rugby team trashed the Naki, so the omens are good for me. :D

Turk1964(Bosporans Mid)27/39 def Rom1944(Medieval Crown of Aragon) 31/30

Another excellent battle with what looked like an impregnable line of Argonese. Defensive spear lined up in the middle with Superior Heavy armoured Knights on their right flank and the ferocious Superior Mf impact foot on the left flank. My army looked puny in comparison, heavy armoured impact foot in the centre with a screen of lf in front of them. The Sup protected Lancers well back from the main line spread out on both flanks with Mounted Cav archers spread thinly in front of them.Nowhere for anyone to hide except some woods in which the Enemies Mf Impact foot had their extreme flank anchored. To begin i though i had no chance against this lot, very good army well positioned. The main threat being the Knights spread menacingly to my left. These i would have to avoid at all costs and sent half my cavalry archers forward to manace them with Lancers as back up ready to run the Gauntlet.I sent my Heavy impact forward at a fast march to engage the enemy defensive spear with LF in front to soften them up, My right i sent forward my cav archers forward to try and disrupt the Enemy MF.Both lines engaged and before long i had the enemy spearmen routing in the center but they held well on their flanks not allowing a break through but enough of a gap to get the cav through to menace the spearmens rear. The knights made a charge on the left and had my Cav on the run firing arrows as they beat a hasty retreat. The battle was touch and go for both sides and the mf became exposed to rear attacks from the Lancers and soon the right flank was awash with blood and eventually the Cav and Lancers emerged victors securing the right flank and allowing the Cav to get behind the Valiant Spearmen. The Knights were busy chasing Skirmishers and eveading Cav and had no real impact on the battle. After a momoth struggle the Bosporans emerged victorious but only just. Well played Rom a grat battle fought well on both sides. Cheers Turk

GRAND FINAL RESULT

Rexhurley(Jewish Revolt Josephus)43/49 Def Turk1964(Bosporan Mid) 48/41

A Great game where the Bosporans fought hard against the Jewish Horde army. To start i thougt i had no hope as the Bosporans rolled very poorly and there seemed little hope. Rex manouvered his army perfectly to outflank the outnumbered Bosporans and i was soon fighting on 2 fronts. The Bosporan Lancers were soon surround and rear charged succesfully leaving the Infantry to try and hold back the onslaught. What Lancers were left to protect the flanks were slowly routed until only the infantry remained . It was Just a matter of time and the Superior MF of the Jewish army wore down the remaining army but not without huge casualties themselves. The ending was a last stand scenario which saw the Jewish horde succesful. Well played Rex and thanks for a Fantastic game and a very worthy opponent. Thankyou all for your Participation and hope to run this comp again next year for the unfortunate first round losers of the KO Competition :D

Cheers Turk
