not so much a report, just a WTF moment..

I managed to lose 3 generals last night in a game at the club.

They were killed during resolution of 4 successive combats (the last 2 combats fought in my opponents melee phase, one impact combat and the first melee to be resolved in my melee phase)

The unit involved in the Impact combat didn't actually have a general with it anyway.

Partly this was because I only started the game with three generals.

The units they were fighting with were 2 Superior Spanish Tercios and a Superior Landsnecht Kiel.

The game ended shortly afterwards.

I just felt the need to share ...

I feel your pain...

In my first-ever FoGR game, against Steve Hacker, Steve threw double six to kill my general. In the next combat, I did the same to kill his general.

I need more fingers than I have to count the times my superiors have re-thrown their dice to fail again, twice replacing 6 1s with 6 2s!!

I had a FOGAM game where, 90 minutes in, my Early Persians had done no damage to the enemy army, my centre had routed and all four generals had died, some gloriously, some whilst running. After that my troops decided to fight and broike two enemy BGs before their inevitable demise.
