Like most wargamers I have a couple of 15mm DBM sets that having been gathering dust. Will I be able to use these figures based as they are for DBM with FoG. Or will I need to undergo a major re-basing project in February when I get hold of a rulebook.
Thanks

Hi,

You won't have to do any major re-basing :-)

With FOG being a little more flexible than DBx, and depending on what those armies are, you may wish to change some base depths, e.g. you might have a choice of being heavy foot or medium foot in FOG and therefore wish to re-base.

Just as in DBM, some armies are allowed choices in troop representation and after a few games you might decide that you prefer one form over the other, e.g. I'll probably end up changing my NKE close fighters to HI (Bd O) from their current MI (Bd F) config.

So far most game I've played have used armies as they were in DBM with only my Yuan needing some changes for the foot (which I'll hold off till the list goes beyond draft).

Cheers,

Steve
