Re: Bugs here
It seems that hero picture for any hero placed through the editor is not appearing, which has been happening since AK release.
I believe several bugs since AK, such as the problems with ZOC and undo move should be fixed though.

For PzC 1.10 AKKerensky wrote:It seems that hero picture for any hero placed through the editor is not appearing, which has been happening since AK release.

I just put a custom hero with custom values custom name and custom picture thru the editor and everything seems fine...
EDIT 1:
In order to verify the positive I just placed another custom hero into another unit and it shows with picture and stats..all fine
No screen though since photbucket rejects all uploads right now but anyway..heros do work for me in PzC 1.10 with AK...
I didnt tried to put heros into AK scnearios though
EDIT 2:
I just tried the same for the DLC in the beta release and put a hero in a SE Pz of the first scneario and the hero indeed does not show up...
Maybe its due to the installation path or cause the beta build has everything else apart the DLC disabled
Its a bit odd indeed.
PzC 1.10 hero working

Re: Bugs here
The blended core/auxiliary force structure breaks after Etna - When I go to deploy for Messina, the auxiliary units are all missing. Not on map pre-deployed, or in my reserves.
Seems to be a full-stop and not worth playing without them?

Re: Bugs here
During Etna, did you leave your AUX units on the map, or evacuate them to exit hexes before the scenario ended? This is the one caveat of this system, aux units must manually be moved offmap.
This warning is present during the Etna briefing.

Special note: Italian AUXILIARY units that are successfully escorted off map WILL be available for deployment in future scenarios!

I tried the scenario again, and as long as I either left Italians in reserve, or moved them offmap before the scenario ended, I was able to deploy them in the Messina scenario without problem.
It's another reason why disbanding away the 'bad' Italians is discouraged. Sure you can do it for prestige injections, but having less Italian units means less units to hold the Etna Line, and less units available to fulfill the Messina evacuation requirement.

Re: Bugs here
This is a 1.10/1.11 issue rather than a DLC issue, but can it be confirmed whether the CTD has been fixed when an ambush occurs with Undo turned off in MP? I had not experienced this until today but had heard about the issue.
Re: Bugs here
It should be fixed in the beta version you have, let me know if it is not.El_Condoro wrote:This is a 1.10/1.11 issue rather than a DLC issue, but can it be confirmed whether the CTD has been fixed when an ambush occurs with Undo turned off in MP? Re: Bugs here
Not DLC related but the offsets for the german flak tanks Gepard and Möbelwagen are wrong...
observing closely reveals their fireing animation is showing up way to low (on about 2/3 of the barrel)

Re: Bugs here
Noticed one little problem and wrote it already in DLC 42 West 10B - Taranto:
When an italian core unit captures a victory hex the winning conditions are not fullfilled. Starting in Catanzaro (when italian forces used on axis and allied side) only victory hexes captured by german units are counted for mission obejectives.

Re: Bugs here
Would it be possible to fix the deployment characteristics for the Italian units so you can place/remove/re-place them during deployment like normal core units? Currently you cannot. It would be helpful for planning with the new core in those scenarios.

To keep all bugs safely contained:

Changelog:
109E is now a SE 109F
I can however purchase fighters including a 109G

Re: Bugs here
And another one, the (anti-aircraft halftrack) SdKfz 10/4 is missing it's icons. In the equipment file, the icon name has a space inserted, but the SdKfz _10-4.png files from the earlier versions are now called SdKfz_10-4.png, without the space. So the name of the icons themselves has been changed, but the pzeqp wasn't updated apparently.
For now I just copied the old files into the relevant directories, so I have my icons back.

Re: Bugs here
Not being able to upgrade the SE 109F is not a bug, SE aircraft are not normally available in European campaigns. Think of it as a booster unit, it's obviously much better than the 109E people were have issues with, but eventually it will fall out of use. In fact, even within the SE trees, the 109 stops at the G, and there is only the FW190A available. Therefore, you can expect SE aircraft to only have a very limited appearance in the new West DLC campaigns. These units, with a possibility of special Luftwaffe heroes, might be the special AUX units we are looking to move from scenario to scenario. After all, many German aces weren't necessarily always flying cutting edge aircraft, but the aircraft they were most comfortable with. High speed of air units should make manual extraction a much easier task as well.
I didn't have any problem with the SdKfz 10/4, is this an issue new to BETA3 of the baseline game?

It will be perceived as such by a customer as the upgrade screen is completely blank.Kerensky wrote:Not being able to upgrade the SE 109F is not a bug, SE aircraft are not normally available in European campaigns.

? So I'm the only one so far?Kerensky wrote:I didn't have any problem with the SdKfz 10/4, is this an issue new to BETA3 of the baseline game?
I just uninstalled, did a reset, reinstalled the whole beta3 base + beta3 DLC to make sure, and yes, it seems to be a new issue with the baseline game beta3. When I check the beta3 of the baseline game against my 1.10 I can see that the filenames for the SdKfz have been changed.
I had a different issue earlier which I suspect was due to a rotten download, but I don't see how this can be caused by a similar issue? Could perhaps someone just open up his purchase screen in the beta3, go to anti-aircraft, and please confirm wether or not the SdKfz 10/4 has an icon? If yes, I'll download the whole beta again to be sure.
Oh, and thanks for the explanation about the SE Bf 109, I had a slight suspicion it was intentional. But Ballacraine's point is, the bug is not really that you can't upgrade the fighter, but that you can press the 'Upgrade' button, and see an empty screen, without units. I can imagine players scratching their heads and think something is wrong.
But I don't really care, in fact during the last beta I still used the Bf109 (as an F) until the end, and this is an even better unit than that. So, please can we do have nice things this time? On behalf of all those of substandard playing skill who also use the stock core, thanks.
Re: Bugs here
Well at this point, the SE 109F is most likely here to stay, but in the future we'll probably not include SE aircraft as part of the player's CORE. They should make prime candidates for the aux system though. Be a nice bonus for an elite FW190 unit lead by a historical ace to help out with the ongoing Allied air superiority in the campaign to come.

Confirmed with a clean install of BETA3 base game.ThvN wrote:? So I'm the only one so far?Kerensky wrote:I didn't have any problem with the SdKfz 10/4, is this an issue new to BETA3 of the baseline game?
