The problem is : it becomes very difficulte to base the young guard !
I know the YG knew a very rapid evolution especially after 1812 ...but still I do not always understand the evolution from light infantry to line infantry same for the middle guard fusilliers which begins as light and evolve to line .

Terry, this is your post ...will there be an official errata for the russian 1812 guard list ?Sorry - I was looking at the 1813 establishment. The Guard jagers were indeed brigaded together during the 1812 campaign - and therefore should warrant at least a small unit and possibly a large one.
The 1813-1814 list is suspect as well. Since the guard jagers were only 2 Battalions strong by then - they don't deserve to have more than a small unit - and more likely 2 attachments (1 per division
