Can't by expansion packs

Have an ipad2, love the game. Want to buy expansion packs but it gets hung up and just times out (show the soldier looking at watch). Any ideas on what is wrong?

You need to be connected to the internet when buying in app purchases so maybe this is the problem?

That is not the problem as it is connected to my wireless in the house. All other programs and functions using the internet work fine.

Do you have in-app purchases enabled? I believe iOS defaults to them being off these days. The code should check whether that is the case, but it is worth a look. It is under Settings->General->Restrictions.

I'm having the same issue as RacerX with downloading both the in-app purchases as well as the new free content. I'm hooked into Wi-Fi, so I'm connected to the internet; iPad restrictions allow in-app purchases; and the download times out.

Any ideas?

If you can't download either then I would guess that the iPad isn't actually connecting to the internet for some reason. You could try restarting the game and/or iPad and see whether that helps. I don't believe we have had any other reports where people couldn't download the free campaigns.

I'm having the same problem. Love the game, would buy more if I could. No Internet issues. Just bought an in-game purchase on another game to check that worked, and it did. iPad 2.

What happens when you try to purchase? Are you able to login to multiplayer? Have you tried rebooting your iPad?
