There was a command version of PzI called Kleines Panzerbefelhswagen or somothing like that. I think it is a good idea if I try to make an icon of this vehicle, in case you decide to use as the command vehicle. By the way, this is a very creative idea on how to use the new possibilities given by the game engine! Good work!!

An icon of the captured command car used by Rommel (i think was called the Mammoth) in the desert campaign would be marvellous also!

My first idea was to keep the Command Car the same unit throughout the campaign. But then i got several requests to make it upgradable by preferably tanks, otherwise it might be kept in the rear most of the time. So it starts off as a Pz I but it can be upgraded to any bonus unit (tank class) that becomes available (even the capturable ones).

Ok, there were I think command versions of other tanks and AT guns, some of them can be made distinguishable by adding an aerial or two... My idea was to make the icon of this importamt unit different from others... I will research a bit and try to make a "comand vehicles pack" and then, you can use it if you like, or could it be added by players if they please to the mod...
The Kleines Befehlswagen (or so) is a good option to start the GTPG campaign...

I just started playing this mod after having completed the vanilla campaign twice. I have to say, this mod, even only 3 games in, is the best experience with this game yet. In fact, this is how the game should have been in the first place. Quite frankly, this mod is the best mod for any game I have ever played, and I"ve played a lot of games. Kudos to you for making it. Awesomeness. :D

Thanks for the welcome. This is obviously not the thread for gameplay discussion, but I just wanted to see if anyone else thought that AT units were really tough vs infantry? Seems to me that infantry seems too tough (in the open) vs tanks, and that AT seems a little stiff vs infantry. This of course is my experience so far in this game vs gameplay in PG, AG and PGII. A private message discussion would be fine. Or someone could direct me to a better suited thread for such inquiries. Long time player, not fond of posting much. I have read a lot on these forums, however. BTW, just started invading the low countries. Going good so far. 8)

I usually engage AT units either with artillery and/or bomber fire and then i preferably attack with an infantry unit. I never buy towed AT units, only selfpropelled. They are usually good in finishing off low strength units, except for infantry where close defense counts.

I finish off for today with a screenshot of GTPG v2.0 scenario Kasserine.

Now the new gal I met has some severe competition when your 2.0 is released... maybe she will find PzC entrancing too.

I am soooooooo loving this mod! I have a couple of questions though:

1. Do the extra units I receive on the maps count against my total # of units allowed (I'm looking at you Slovaki volunteers)?
2. This is version 1.05 - when I start the mod, it still shows ver 1.02, unless I downloaded an older version from the link. Is the title just not updated?
3. Is this mod compatible with other mods (unit mods)?

Again, this mod is most excellent. Thanks!

1. Yes, they do count when they are a core unit (not as an auxiliary). Those core units can be deployed, kept at reserve or disbanded for prestige at the deployment phase.
2. It is v1.05, i forgot to update it in the campaign.pzdat file. Will upload the correction before the end of the month.
3. This mod is compatible with any unit mod, on the condition that no units from the vanilla part of the efile (the equipment file that comes with your bought copy) were deleted or received another ID number.
For example the mod is compatible with Churchy's and Mautschi's unit mod, and even with Airbornemongo's SS mod.

Every time I try to download it won't let me.

Keeps saying I logged in too many times even with password.

This has been going on for over 6 months.
