There's a section on the My Page site that says Game Ranking, but it only shows a total of games played. To have a bit more statistics would be nice

Game statistics?
Is there any way to see how many games I played, what scenarios, which were won/lost?

Re: Game statistics?
Indeed - the games stats stuff has somewhat languished. We've never really had the backend time to improve the web UI and so we've not wanted to pump out too many stats into it. It's definitely on our long list of serverside upgrades, so if you have any specific ideas then they would be good to hear!

Pip,
well, just what I said. Some list that shows the player what scenarios were played so far, against whom, which side in that scenario, perhaps the time played and the result.

I very much would like to see this enhancement.
And it's something I've begged for many times. I think there are many out there that would like to see this updated.
I think it would enhance the game and allow for bragging rights to who "owns" what scenario.
I'd like to see:
Total Wins/Losses (Overall)
Total Wins/Losses (By scenario)
Re: Game statistics?
I'll add my endorsement. At the very least, I'd love to see my win/loss record against other players at a minimum. After this, there are just fun stats, such as win/loss by campaign, friendly troops killed/survived, enemy troops killed/survived, my overall ranking (a weighting based on games played, win ratio, and perhaps complexity of campaigns -- complexity could be determined by size of playing field, number of troops, number of turns), etc. This last stuff is just for fun. I know a win/loss record/ratio is a start. Thanks for listening! I love the product and what you have done to get the game on so many platforms.
Re: Game statistics?
add me to that list of people who want more details and a player ranking board would be kewl but at least something so I can quickly look at all my games and see how Ive been doing

Re: Game statistics?
Great idea. I'm a BA newbie and have a perfect MP record so far - no wins! One player really cleaned me up and whilst educational for me, must have been boring for him (frontal assaults are just SO 1918!
)
So a hierarchy of winners would help the better players to choose someone more in their league. And newbies likewise. Maybe go with simplest stat to start with?
1. # games played
2. # games won (and %)
Impersonating a newbie could be a problem however recording the user's IP address may address that?

Love your sense of humor.
In regards to you mentioning that an advanced player may impersonate a newbie.
I don't think you need to worry about that,...
Here's why,..I've been playing for a while now and win a lot of my games,...almost to point of getting lazy in my tactics.
And usually when I play a newbie,..they do something that I'm not expecting an experienced player to make,..and I suffer for that laziness.
Plus,..I think the players here can get to be pretty well known amongst each other.

Re: Game statistics?
Fair enough. It is just that I've heard that in some online games, some players create a secondary account/character for the specific intent of constantly losing to the primary, thereby boosting the primary's standing.
Maybe we don't have to worry about this in BA, which would be fantastic. But if this was an issue, allowing one rego per IP address may be part of the answer. Just a thought.

I don't think it's possible to to sign into BA Multiplayer with two different accounts.johntindall wrote:Fair enough. The serial number is tied to your account?
Even if that's not the case,..I think you'll find that this not the type of game "those type of people" play.
I think most of the people here are a little older (sorry guys,..but you know it's true), have played these type of games for many moons,..and have too much pride to cheat or leverage a game to their advantage. Sure, there may be that one person that does the very things we abhor,..but I don't think they'd play very long. I don't see this game as their cup of tea.

Two accounts, two computers above mention idea = a sad individual with no self esteem or personal pride.

Re: Game statistics?
People have been asking for multiplayer game stats for two years now, but with such a small dev team on this game, i dont think we will be getting them any time soon.
Which is a shame as it would defo add to the enjoyment of playing on line.
