Guille...no big issue at all but if you really want it to be genuine the base of the 12.8cm Flak could use a little rework...

The 12.8 was mounted on a big rectangular base with support arms on the edges and not on cross base like the 8,8.
There might have been a few field modifications but the production gun looked like this.

Yes, I am fully aware of the aspect of the 12.8 Flak base... I tried to make it different (bigger) form the one of the 8.8 cm... I dont think I have skills to make an icon from scratch... But havin your excellent image, will tyrty to make a better icon. This unit deserves it. Thanks!

You dont need to make the icon from scratch at all..Your 12,8 gun looks great...its just the base

Yes... I will use the image you uploaded to model a more realistic base, its very good! And I think I can also improve the looks of the upper part of the gun, the recoil dampener. Will upload a "new" icon in a few days time...

Guille, as long as you are working on trains, here are some pictures for you. There are numerous pictures of this type of flatcar on the internet and I think maybe two or more model kits.

A new release:

The Fieseler Fi-156C-5/Trop Storch. This was a long range, "tropicalised" version of this multipurpose light aircraft. Used in multitude of roles in the North African Campaign, now is available in two schemes... I like to use one for the standard "purchasable" unit, and the other for the bonus unit.

The efx data and the equipment data is the same as the Fi-156C-5 which was included in the first release of this unit pack (see first post). About the unit pack "total" download, I think to update it when some more new units became available, posting a link to the new version of the file in the first post, for everyone to download.

The icon was made using as a base the one created by Bosnian Dragon, and processed with the Camo Sprayshop program by rezaf. This can be considered a partial success, given that the mask I was able to make, did not work very well with the small icons, but I obtained a good desert camouflaged big icon. With this, I was able to arrange the complete icon. For the big unit portrait, I use the same black and white photo that was released with the original icon

May be some of you found it useful to add it to the unit roster.

I did a new (and improved, I hope) icon for the 12.8 cm Flak 40 gun, in AA and ground combat mode. Used the image sent by Chris10 as a model (thanks!). I like this icon more than the older one because it looks less like the 8.8 cm gun, making it a distinct unit on the map. I hope it serves you well. Big unit portrait is still missing.

Now, the turn for eisenbahn Flak Artillerie...

Here are the icons for the 12.8 cm Flak gun on railcar, in AA an ground combat version. This one was possible thanks to ThvN, who kindly provided me with an excellent rail flatcar icon to mount the guns on. Thanks ThvN!!

Besides, there is also a railcar mounting two 8.8 flack guns (this in AA mode only, for now).

I will be working in the bigunits, equipment and efx files for this units, which will be uploaded soon in an updated version of the complete unit pack of this thread.

the 10.5 base was almost the same as 8.8
