Newbie Question on Interface

Post by redboot »

Is there a way to pause an opponent playback (or AI turn) to look at the detailed combat results window in more...well...detail? I'm just learning the system and I can't read the results fast enough as the shoot by during a playback, so I'm unsure what modifiers are being applied. Is there any way to make the window larger so the full results of a single combat are displayed on one page? Any recommendations on how to view this would be appreciated.

Thats probably something that could be worked on the ability to pause the game. I agree with redboot when replaying a turn all the information flashes past too quickly. No wonder new players get confused

I often want to do this and find it really frustrating that I can't. I keep trying to click on the menu button and this will pause the game, but you have to time it right to start and stop and it's not very friendly or reliable. :(

The best you can do at the moment is to set the animation speed at the lowest level possible. This slows down everything including the detail results display. You can also scroll back through the results in the details window so that may give you a way to see more than fits in the window.
