Nice job, Lysi!
Just as well as I'm in a pickle vs massina. Early times yet but his fast moving cav spells t-r-o-u-b-l-e!

It's a good thing you are picking up my slack, fellow Europeans. Hope I'll do better next round.

+++Update+++

Solly's challenge seems to have vanished into the fires of Pompei? I have requested that he try again.

Cheers, Claymore

Thanks for the update.
You can make the challenge yourself, you know...doesn't matter who makes it.

Europe vs Rest of the World

Foederate Romans-east (hidde) 36/56
Huns-Attila (massina_nz) 57/54

Not enough space for the Hun cavalry. Even so, it looked bad for a while as almost the entire force of their lancers concentrated and attacked on one flank.
The Romans managed to hold the flank despite severe losses and did enough damage elsewhere but it hanged in the balance for a long time.

Huzzah! :D

Can I ask the captains to start thinking about the terrain choices for the next round...
and start announce them when you are ready
I assume the two games, BI vs NA, should be finished soon. solly vs claymore might drag on a bit longer but they'll catch up.

Yay. Europe pulled through. :)

I'm changing my choices if that's okay, since I now know more info on things. :)

Putting Gepids as the first choice against the Brits in round 2.

That's ok as long as your opponent hasn't submitted anything. How about round 3, no change there?

Well, this seems fine, Gepids work at their best on open terrain!

After taking the roll of Attila (the Nun) in the last game, I still have nightmares about wave after wave of merciless Gepid lancers relentlessly charging me down. I will have to think long and hard what army to sacrifice to them this round...
