Landsknecht's

Post by david53 »

looking at getting an army with these troops as major troops.

Are they part of the imperial army and if so what are the maxaium numbers of Landsknecht pikemen and other are they part of the imperial army what are the maxaium numbers of Landsknech troop types are allowed. How are they classed average or superior/armoured/unarmoured.

Just fancy seeing if they can take on the Swiss.

There are a number in Trade and Treachery.

You can add in the French Hugenot as well.

There are plenty of landsknechht options particularly in the Austrian based lists. The question is what do you want to support them with?

I have found the way to defeat a Keil is hold it by the nose and kick in multiple sides. Preferably after you have shot at it a bunch.
