For those of you who were eagerly awaiting Arcane Legions, the bad news is that we're no longer working on that game. The good news is that it has turned in to something bigger and better - THE HISTORY CHANNEL Great Battles of the Middle Ages!
We have used the engine and game play mechanics and developed them further to fit the historical setting. The game is already looking way better than it did as Arcane Legions and the gameplay has really come together in the last couple of months. I'm sure you will not be disappointed!
Will we ever go back and finish off Arcane Legions? Who knows - if GBotMA is very successful maybe there will be room for a fantasy expansion, but given the current market conditions a fantasy game without a known brand is likely to fail utterly.

Great news Iain,
While there's no doubt that i am very much looking forward to this (still slightly regretting Arcane Legions) i have to say that i am a little worried by the timing...there's no doubt the game will be compared to MTW2 (which i haven't) and there's a game called XIII century (or something like that) which will be released shortly and that deals with battles only...
I cross the fingers that everything will do well

Ain't that the ironic truth!!! I have observed that many gamers with a fantasy bent are utterly lacking in imagination. They need some sort of deeply detailed, preconceived world so they can be anal about details that someone else made up. Though I am an Historical gamer first and foremost I was looking forward to "Arcane Legions" at least partially from the stand point that if a tactical game is in a fantasy setting then there are no historical details that I need to be anal about;^)but given the current market conditions a fantasy game without a known brand is likely to fail utterly.
