OK, a rough idea of a Phyrric army

Cavalry, all in BG's of 4-6 bases:
A small number of decent cavalry, either Xystophoroi or Tarentine style with Javelins (1-3 BG's but if using the Xystophorio only 1 BG)
Upto 1 BG of light horse with javelins
The option of 1 BG of elephants (2 bases)

Infantry:
Some to lots of pikemen
The option of a couple of BG's of hoplite style spearmen
Some light foot of various types, 1-3 BG's of Archers, Slingers and / or Javelins

Then depending on the date of the army either:
The option to downgrade some of the pike to poor quality and have some Italian javelinmen
Or have 1 BG of Gallatian foot instead.

Armament wise the Xystopohoroi are essentially Macedoinian companion cavalry but can't be used with the Galatians while the later javelin armed cavalry can't be used with the poor quality phalanx or italian infantry.

Hope that helps a bit.
