Africa Korps CRC Check Failed error

I am having trouble getting Africa Korps to load. I have downloaded and installed without any problems but when I press play on the Gamemenu I get the "CRC Check Failed: Try Reinstalling" error. I searched the forum and saw that this might have something to do with the Mods, so I deactivated all of them, uninstalled AK and then tried to reinstall. I have even re-downloaded the file. I am running Windows Vista.

Any suggestions?

This kind of problem can be related with wrong serial numbers, or corrupted data in the Windows registry.
So my suggestion is:
Uninstall everything related with panzer Corps. I mean Afrika Korps, then DLC (if you have them) and finally Panzer Corps main game.
If you have beta Panzer Corps beta installed uninstall it either.
Then install Panzer Corps 1.0, all the DLC's for the chronological order (if you have them), and finally Afrika Korps.
Please, check well which serial you're using for each. Panzer Corps main game has one, each DLC has one and Afrika Korps has another.

I will try this. Panzer Corps still works but I will delete that and all the DLCs and reinstall everything in order.

It is working now, thanks Paulus for your help.

Just for everyone's information, the problem turned out to be that the AfricaKorps installer installed the files into the DMP folder. I am not sure how or why as I always choose the default installation options. I uninstalled all the Panzer Corps files and all the mods and then reinstalled Panzer Corps, the 1.05 patch, the 1.10 patch and then AfrikaKorps and it works. I will now install the DLCs and then the various mods but will check that each works before going on.

I will report back if any problems occur.

Finally, I want to reiterate the positive comments that others have made in regards to the level and speed of support that is put into Panzer Corps. It is great to see a company work so hard to help its customers. I certainly look forward to the next DLC or expansion!
