Adding French infantry, scout error

Hi

I have taken a few units from the squads file of one of the expansions. The French Corps works fine, but when trying to add a French infantry unit or Scout in the map it says an error about missing french_infantry_0 or something similar. Any hints?

Frenchinfantry_0.s4f is in the main game units folder, so you should check the filename against that. It might be that it is a unit which was never actually used, and which got left in by mistake.

Can you tell me the precise unit and the error message (the error should be mirrored into the error.log file).

Ok, it was just a naming issue, the name in the squads file is looking for french_infantry with the underscore separator. Thanks, you have done a great job with the modding capabilities of this game, so flexible and your help is superb.
