Can´t install the betapatch (1.04)

I have the spanish Friendware version.

When trying to execute seems I can´t find the appropriate directory, using the browser, so I get the message: "This is an odd on installer. The directory you have selected doesn´t contain the target application. Please choose another one".

I suppose the right one is the default installation one: "C:\Archivos de programa\Friendware\Commander - Europe At War", but anyway I get the message above.

The beta patch is for the online publishers only, so one beta patch for Slitherine and one for Matrix. You will just have to wait a while longer because very soon the official patch will come out and you can then DL the Spanish patch.

After installing the new patch games starts and shuts down right before it goes to loading screen. Can anyone help me? Why is it doing that?

You probably have some old scenarios in your scenario folder and game tries to read them and fail. You cannot use custom scenarios created earlier than 1.04, so delete those ones form the scenario folder and keep the original ones only i.e. the 1939, 1940, ...., 1944 ones.
