Games clearing off the system

Normally my completed games would clear off the system after 14 days. Now I have games that are over a month old that have not cleared. Has a change been made to the settings?

Im having the same problem as Pete . I have games still on my results that have been there since 5th of June,usually these would have cleared by now.Normally max games results i would have would be 60 or 70 at the momment i have 146. Has there been a change with how long they take to clear? I see Pete has asked awhile ago now could someone from Slitherine HQ let us know whats happening?

Sorry i hadnt realise there was already a post for this, ive just added another one on the main discussion section noticing that the game results seem to be accumulating up a lot longer now. Just wondered if something has changed or gone wrong with the servers. Hope they dont build up too long in the longterm. Ive got a month results now.

I have a game that I set up at the beginning of May, that was picked up by a player who never played a move and that I claimed after a month. The result is I have a persistent "unread" result highlighted in bold text in my scorecard. I was hoping it would pass through the bowels of the system but it's got stuck in the metaphorical colon. Can you provide a laxative to evacuate this indigestible gristle, please.

I have the same problem. Almost 34 games on the results sector.

I admit im slowing down on the number of online games im playing until this is resolved. I have 41 results listed now. Surely someone can explain what is happening, if its a server problem or something else?

I have now got 149 results whih makes me the winner Ive never had so many results still showing .Hopefully my system can handle all the saved results.

Just interested: why is saving results for longer seen as a problem for you guys? As I mentioned, I have a specific problem with one constipated result that won't budge but I'm not seeing the drawbacks otherwise.

I dont think its a real problem its just they normally clear and some of my results are still ther from June 5th.They would normally clear in 14 days so we assume there has been an adjustment made but no one will answer us.

The games are stored on the server, are they not, so it shouldn't affect the performance of your system (if by system you mean computer)? Information from Slitherine would be helpful, of course - the game does seem rather under-curated these days.

Oh and Mr Turk you are proving your credentials as the most dedicated of FoGists - I have a paltry 70 games. Can anyone challenge your impressive games haul...?

Its now 153 games stored played from 5 th June to 24thof July . Thats an average of 3.06 games a day. Gee i must be on here far too much

I am not regarding it as a "problem" as such - it was more a case of just letting Slitherine know that it is happening (in case they didn't realise). Obviously it is an intended change given they have not replied. Now only if they would change the "claim" option to 14 days instead of 30 days.

No sign of the games being cleared from my results . I now have 163 saved results ,wonder how many it will hold before an eruption

There seems to have been a big clear out today and I am down to my last fortnight's games again.

Yes i had 210 game results saved and now im down to 41. Just makes me realise how many games i play

Seems my game results arn't clearing again,i have 140+ games stored,some from july. Can this be looked into please?

Yes we know its an issue and we have to make a fix for it but it needs to be done after a server update which is coming in the near future. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks Iain Doesnt seem to do any harm but they used to disapear after a month and just reporting it is happening again. Cheers Turk

Speaking of so meany games played, who and when do the rankings get adjusted? I've played at least 75 games since they were done last?? Okie
