After invest so much in subs & NA , Axis is too weak to face Russia in 1941 ,but after 1942 Russia will be a steamroller . Even if Axis get whole Middle east , they will lose Berlin !

I have predict this on Jun26th in this AAR ! This does not look like a war between two equal lvl player or maybe Axis player made too many mistakes ( strategy).

I think Leonard and I are fairly equal ... our last game ended in a draw. I think it's the strategy and not the player.

Progress is as good as you could hope for. Only mud will slow you down, winter and fair weather are both ok for the Russians. The Axis lines aren't very strong, but if you try to do too much too quickly you may squander the power of the Red Army and end up with a worse type of victory. However, as long as you aren't sloppy, you should be able to crush the Axis in 1944 at the latest .

Russia will win this easily by keeping up the grinder. Gaining ground is not important when you destroy Axis units every turn. Sooner or later his defense line will crack and you gain a lot of ground.

Most important now is to form a second front in France so the Germans will have to defend two fronts. They just can't do that with the strong Russian presence in the east. So the western Allies should be able to quickly liberate Paris.

The date in the latest update is wrong - it's 1943, not 1941.

I'm surprised that the Axis player keeps fighting in secondary fronts instead of evacuating troops from there. I can understand why he wanted to close the Med, but operations near Agadir are a waste of time and effort IMO and it seems that many good units are in Persia, while they should be in Europe. Sure, he gets some oil, but also loses oil due to combat - there are ARMs, MECHs and air units there! Concentrating on Teheran also seems like a waste, since oil is what is important in the ME. If I were playing the Axis, I would concentrate my defence in Iraq and southern Persia - those deserts, hills and rivers should at least slow the Soviets down. Also, it would be easier to evacuate units if necessary, sth which would be hard ATM.

I think you're being a bit over-cautious in France. IMO the thing to do is to apply maximum pressure everywhere at once--he'll collapse like a house of cards.

I think you should just send the transports to France now. If Germany manages to form a very strong defense line then you don't have to land, but at least you tie down German units in the west that could have been in the east.

If you get your navy to protect the flanks and you have air superiority then you have nothing to fear.

You can even land near Cherbourg to cut off the defenders of that city. Cherbourg won't turn into a fortress until July 1943 so you have some time to capture it.

Immediate invasion it is then ... well, as soon as I can get my transports and land my troops that is. It's definitely going to be a ragtag affair.
