I would suggest to continue playing your current campaigns. Saves should be compatible.

It is safer to uninstall previous beta first, although in theory both ways should work.

It works (I think ). I install beta3 over beta2 and the game starts.

Finally I got a DV in Gazala yesterday (the first time).
I'll check the missing unit pictures, especially the SE Units after installing the new beta 4.
Till Gazala I can't use paratroopers (embark into air transport) - intended ?
