BA Will Not Open After Latest MS Update

Bill Gates Strikes again! If only he would dress up like Darth Vadar so we would see his true colors!

I was told that updates were going to be installed to my XP 64 install so I let it "do its thing." Once I rebooted and signed on I no longer could launch IE8. Now I also cannot open up Battle Academy.

Did anyone else have this problem and if so what is the solution?

Question: is there a way to uninstall the latest Win update?

I am dead in the water until I find a solution.

Ok - I figured out how to uninstall the dumb MS updates. If someone figures out the settings that need to be enabled to get BA and Internet Explorer working w/new MS updates let me know. For now my system has not be hijacked to transport Aliens to West Sussex ...

Well that is odd. What error message did you get when you tried to run BA? I got some updates today too, but on W7_64 it is still fine.

I can't think what could have broken it - do other games still work (could be a driver update issue)?

No error message for either BA or IE. Just would not launch at all. Zip, notta, nothing.

For now I will just leave 'well enough alone." or in the words of an immortal Yank "If it aint fixed don't break it."
