Missing DLC saved games

Just returned after being away for about 6 weeks. i tried to load my DLC 39' saved game and I can't locate any of my DLC saves. I boot up the game go to load saves and there is nothing there to load. It's possible that I simply don't remember if there is a separate save file how to properly do this but that seems unlikely.

All the saves go to the same place. It doesn't matter if it's DLC, custom scenario or vaniila campaign... they will always be saved in Documents\My Games\Panzer Corps\Save

So by default when you load the game and go to the saved game files you should see the DLC saved games then?

Exactly.

Maybe you've saved over another one you had. Check with Windows Explorer the dates of your saved files.

Afraid you'd say that..seems i have a problem with my saves then. They are all missing! Must have a chat with my daughter about this one...... I will restart in 39',then save and see if that save works then. Thanks for getting back to me so fast though!

I agree, situations like that are always very annoying. But understand, there isn't a way that Panzer Corps could erase the saves automatically.

I have a few possible sources of the problem. Panzer Corps save files are located in the directory: C:\Users\<user name>\Documents\my games\Panzer Corps\Save. So obviously they are user specific. You can just open the directory in explorer and check if the save files are there. If they are then something went wrong with them and the game is not recognizing them anymore. If they are not there there are a few possibilities

1) As stupid and unlikely it is but did you play the game on the same computer before? Just making sure.
2) You possibly played the game on different account (as another user) then they are in the other users directory and you can't access them. To solve it just log as this user, copy the files somewhere else, then log in as the user you want to use now and copy them into the right folder.
3) You may have moved your user folder to another drive. If you did it properly the game should still recognize it but windows can act strange sometimes-
4) Someone just deleted them.
