Good news.Today i downloaded the Battlepack and now the Battlepack battles and the DAF battles are unlockt.

I had the same problem. All the DAF folders, armies and games are listed in my folder but the historical battles wouldn't load, just the user-designed battles. I don't know how it worked, but I found the autorun icon that is specific for DAF and clicked to register the Battle Pak online, which I had neglected to do right after I downloaded it. Then I clicked Play on the same menu and lo and behold the DAF historical battles appeared in the game menu. As I wrote, I don't know what registering the BP had to do with it (if in fact it did), but that was the result of the operation. All my FoG editions and updates are downloaded not disc-loaded. Give it a try, what have you got to lose? But remember, it was the DAF autorun icon. Apparently each edition or most of them have their own autorun. These DAF original battles only show up on the game menu when I use the DAF autorun icon to click Play.

Edit: Sorry, mine was a case of premature expostulation apparently, as when my post came up I saw that you had found the solution, apparently while I was drafting it. All's well that ends well. At least it confirms that the BP may have something to do with it.

Well, yu guys are going to laugh but I just noticed that I dont have the DAF historical battles. My serial number is already registered. So what can I do?

Havent buyed the battlepack.

Did you upgrade to 1.8.0? If you have and you're still missing the DAF historicals, then I guess the idea is that you should also buy the BP.

what historical battles are you talking about?
DAF came to my PC with only DAG armies....that's why i was so disappointed by it...
it seems something did not work properly with this game...
anyway, i have all the historical scenarios i need from the forum, so i'm not that much upset

A screenshot of the serial key unlock pop up from the launcher menu. It will list the expansions that are installed for me.

Here are the battles you will see for DAF
Angora 1402 AD., Ankara (Historical alternative) 1402AD., Ankara 1402AD., Anzen 838AD., Callinicum 531AD., Chaldiran 1514AD., Dara 530AD., Dorylaeum 1097AD., Kosovo 1389AD., Mohacs 1526AD., Nicopolis 1396AD., Scultenna 643AD., Taginae 552AD., Vaslui 1475AD., Yarmouk 636AD.

I don't know any way that this cant work so if it is installed correctly all I can suggest is a reinstall.

The above ones:

LOL, on a lark I checked my game too and I dont have any of these battle either (PC version , dd, bought from Slitheirne site)

I wonder, I play tested the beta for DAF , then bought it... I think (not sure) that I uninstalled the beta after I installed the full version... Could it be those scenarios were deleted from uninstalling the beta???

well, i didnt had the beta and I do not have the battles...

However if I go to the following folder Im able to see them there.

C:\Archivos de programa\Slitherine\Field of Glory\games

Though not available on the play list of the game.

Any clues how to fix this?

I Also tried to copy one of the Historical battles of DAF and paste it on the custom secenarios folder, but it also doesn't show on the custom scenarios list of the game.

I have 1.80 installed; all the DAGs are listed on the Intro screen including DAF and the preloaded BP. Everything is there but the battles are AWOL.

I'd say we have a major problem here Houston.

What folder are the D&F scenarios in on your system. I believe they re-organized the folder structure for some files around the time of D&F so that may be what is causing the problem.

On one PC they are at:

C:\Matrix Games\Field of Glory\games

On the other one:

C:\Archivos de programa\Slitherine\Field of Glory\games

Archivos de Programa=Program Files in Spanish.

On both PC´s I´m not able to see the battles on the list to play.

The scenarios in question are in the same folder as all the others:
C:\Program Files\Slitherine\Field of Glory\games

They are also listed in the "orderXML" file in same, yet dont display when launching the game...

I may be able to poke around and figure out what is wrong in more detail but not sure how long that willtake. For anyone in a hurry, the quickest fix is probably to do a clean install / re-install. Install the original game, upgrade to the latest update and then enter your serial numbers for all of the add ons.

I did this on my new laptop after my old one died (about 6-12 months ago, so after D&F release) and see the scenarios without a problem.
