Add/delete units

Post by enric »

On Mac laptop the only way to add and delete units are these shorcuts I discovered by patience, but the inconvenient is that suddenly they refuse to work, and I must quit and reload.

To add units cmd - fn - backspace, then any click will place a unit
To delete units shift - fn - backspace, then click will delete the unit (fn -backspace worked before)

But suddenly after deleting some units, the add mode refuses to work, so no way to add a unit to the map :( .

Please is there a easy way to add or delete units?

The latest update should allow you to use the BACKSPACE key to delete units, avoiding these workarounds.

Looks like that got missed from the patch notes - it was in the beta thread but sorry if you missed it.

Cheers

Thank you.
Can you tell me something about Slith Edger Plugin, I can not understand its purpose and use :?
Two options Water and Clear, but even if I tried different combinations got any result.

If you just throw down water tiles, then it will edge them appropriately in most cases (some wierd crossovers don't have edges that will work, but it's a 99% kind of thing). Clear removes the edges IIRC.

Basically it means that if you want rivers and lakes you don't have to slowly edge them by hand.

Cheers
