Help!

i have been recently working on a scenario and thought I had done everything right and had started testing the game, however even though I have core slots available, I cannot place any new units in the cities that have the countries flags. I am sure it is something small I have missed but I cant see what it is and cant find anythng in the editor.

Did you place deployment hexes in the editor?

It's under Edit > Special Hexes, select those little tank or plane icons for land/air deployment, and place enough of them on the map where you want to deploy your core units. In single player it is the grey icons for the human player's side.

Have you assigned your nation in the nation's list in the scenario editor?

I had assigned the nations involved and that was not the problem. I have tried setting the grey tank units ikon as suggested but it has not done anything I still cannot place new units

actually just checked again and the tank icon worked for the alliws, but not for the germans. My original problem seems to have been that although it said i had 7 core slots available, when i went into the scenario editor it said i had max units on map!

now i find i can place allied units but not german. Not sure what the problem is

Hm, strange. Maybe you try those green deployment icons instead the grey ones in the editor?

It would surprise me as I get deployment only when using the grey ones but might be worth a try.

Just to be sure - it said in the editor you had too many units or in the game? Do you have an outrageous amount of units placed already in that scenario?

i did have initially a large amount of units pre deployed, but it wasnt right so I cut the numbers down. The germans have 14 starting units and a max of 24 core slots. The allies have 16 starting units and 28 max cores lots. But i can place units for the allies, just not the Germans

Is this for single player or multi player? If it is the latter, I suspect you have to use both grey and green deployment icons in the editor to have deployment working for both sides.

I'm only guessing here though, I only made SP scenarios.

tried both and still wont work. Funny that I can deploy allied units fine
