Multiplayer no longer working

Multiplayer was working fine until yesterday

Yesterday I had the message that my software was incompatible and needed to be updated, although there was no way I could find to update the app.

Today I get a different error message that the server “is unable to validate my details” and I shoudl contact support forums

What is going on please?

Sorry you are having problems. We released an update to the app store yesterday and you need to grab the update to log in. The reason is that everyone needs to have the same latest version or multiplayer just wont work and things will not stay synchronised.

You should see an update is available and just grab it.

Ok - updated and working now; App store did not show the update for 24 hours or so
