Adding single Divisions from another Corps.

The proceedures for determining the maxima and minima for single divisions (p.158 ToN) will sometimes produce minima above zero for both cavalry and infantry for the division being exported from a corp that is not allowed to have mixed divisions. In some cases, such as the various French Imperial Guard Corps, there are instructions in the list for the importing corps on how to handle the minima, but in other cases, such as divisions exported from the Austrian Reserve Corp 1813-14, there are none. I was wondering how these cases should be handled.

There seem to be several options:

1- The division can't be added despite it being an option in the list for the importing corp because you can't meet the minima and combine them in a permitted division for the exporting corps(seems a bit rough, but would work on a very literal interpretation of the rules).

2- Despite not normally being allowed a mixed division in the exporting corp, you are in this case so you can field the minima of each type (no real support in the rules for this and seems to be against the requirement of the other restrictions on the division remaining in place)

3- You choose a type of division (infantry or cavalry) that is permitted in the exporting corp and only have to meet the minima for units that can legally be fielded in that type of division.

This last option seems the most sensible to me and seems to tie in best with those instances where specific instructions are given in the list on how to handle the minima. What do other people think?

Finally, if the answer is 3-, does this apply more widely to situations where a mixed division is permitted in the exporting corp and there are minimima for cavalry and infantry after applying the proceedures on p.158? Could you instead choose to import a infantry division (assuming that it is legal for the exporting corp to have one and there is nothing in the special instructions for the importing corp that requires the imported division to be mixed) and ignore the cavalry minima?

You choose the permitted division type, and if the type selected is infantry or cavalry you ignore the minima of the non-selected type.
