just a reminder that the FoG ladder is up and running. We only have one result reported so far and would like to get this filled up with some more results
I think what Bruce is saying is are there enough games being played to make the ladder meaningfull.
At the moment there are usually a couple of games every Monday night at MAWS, it is just that the players haven't been putting their details in the ladder. I think that something will get moving soon.

BTW is anyone interested in the October FoG minicomp in Manchester? I might be able to find the odd spare bed or three if people want to travel up on Saturday and have a practice game or four.
Sorry about that question. Looks like I had a very bad typing day. I did mean mixing.
If we include beta competition games then there should be enough information to start making it meaningful. At the moment most games are going to be localised to clubs with very little mixing between those clubs.
There are only a couple of us playing regularly at Halifax. Although we play to win, we are still at the stage of trying out different armies and looking for anomalies in the rules. We hope to have another player signing up for the Manchester game and joining us to test soon, so will be teaching rather than competing heavily.
In short, we have not yet reached the stage of wanting to record our club results on the ladder. We may never get there, our club games in DBM were always more about trying out armies than competition between players. This doesn't mean we do not play to win, just that we usually prefer to organise interesting match ups and bring on weaker players rather than have a competition type game. (This probably explains why some of the armies we turn up to competitions with lack a bit of 'match practice' in their organisation.)
