Detection rules for unloading?

What are the detection rules for unloading units? I've just unloaded an AT gun into a row of buildings where there's no way that I can be seen (I killed nearby enemy infantry with line of sight first, to ensure that the unload action would be hidden). There is a PzIV tank the other side of the line of buildings about five squares away. The PzIV immediately saw the AT gun unload, shot once in reaction fire, and destroyed the gun. I'd assumed that hidden unloads were safe (and Allies really need their AT guns to fight the uberstreng panzers). What did I do wrong? Winter Village 2.0.4

Remember LOS lasts till the end of the turn. If you killed them that turn they LOS would still be active to your tiles.

Thanks Iain, that explains it. Had assumed LOS goes when the viewing infantry dies. Doh! Good to know :-)
