Do pistol armed light horse get the same number hit
dice as normal horse per rank etc

Who has LH with shooting pistols?

Lots have melee pistols, but the don't fire in shooting phase.

I see the Border Reivers LH have a shooty pistol - there must be others but I can't be bothered to look them up!

LH with pistol will shoot as "other mounted with shooting capability" and thus get 1 dice per 2 bases at short range and 1dice per 3 bases at long range. This is different to "Horse with pistol" as Horse is a specific mounted troop type and the Dice allocation & POA there represents shooting by Caracole.

I believe the Scots can have shooting pistol armed LH as well.

Scottish Royalists, Moss Troopers can have them. I even painted up a unit of them but alas so far have not gotten around to doing any other highlanders, and now we are busy playing FOG N... perhaps one day I will get to see how they work out.
