Commander bases

Hi all,

quick question, I noticed that the rules state that commander bases are listed as having a depth of 40mm or less, so I am ok to use cavalry bases for my bases, 30mm deep?

Just want to clarify before I go flocking etc,

You can, but 40x40 in 15mm is the norm and is actually slightly better for game purposes.

I get tired of re-basing so I'm starting to get less fussy about it. When V2 comes out (?????), I suppose they'll want to change the bases on more unit types.

They've been pretty clear that rebasing is not their thinking. If Anything they seem to want to make base depth less releveant.
