What do Amazon know we don't ?

Post by donm »

Have recieved a couple of emails from them this week asking if I would like to trade in my copy of the rules.

Do they know something we don't ?

Perhaps they are so popular that the demand has outstripped supply so they need to trawl people who bought it to see if they still want them?

Have you ever received anything like this before? Did it say anything else?

I have, they tried to buy back 2 off topic titles from me PROVIDED that I did a trade, i.e. I was not offered cash but a credit against something else from Amazon.

Would be interested to know how much they really offer for their trade ins.

Having made money on our original purchase and offering vouchers for us to spend on another purchase, sounds like a good way of maximising their profit.
