Interpentrating Friends w Formation Change??

Post by Blathergut »

To interpenetrate friends of same division, the unit being interpenetrated needs to not move.

Does this include a formation change? Could the interpenetrated unit form tactical from square and then have friends move through?

The rule says it must remain stationary, not that it may not make any move. I interpret this as the footprint on the ground not changing, so moves that do not change the footprint are permitted. These would include changing into or out of Skirmish, Tactical<-->Square, about face, and perhaps others.

Yes, because the 'footprint' doesn't change like it would with extended line.
