Server Maintenance Complete

Hi guys,

as part of our continual process of improvements we are upgrading the server at 12 noon BST today. We will have to take the PBEM++ service offline for a few minutes while doing the upgrade.

The upgrade will dramatically reduce login times and generally improve connectivity to server and performance meaning you should see less issues when trying to log in at busy times.

If it improves things to the extent that response times have improved on this forum (with the upgrade of design to a more modern format) then no problem... because this forum now is hugely faster than the old one!

That is the plan! You should find the login process significantly faster now.

The maintenance took longer than expected as we ran in to a couple of issues but it should now all be up and running and working again.

If you run in to any issues in PBEM then please let us know.

Unable to connect to game server in multiplayer- errors says its unable to validate my details!, other times it just hangs- started bout 30 minutes ago.

logging in multiplayer is now impossible pip..before it was 4 or five times to log in,..but now i've tried 10 or more times in a row! .. B.A. is fine though!

It just took me in excess of 5 minutes to log in. I timed it on my chrono, so I'm not exaggerating. Twice before it hung so long that I gave up. This, at 1600 EST.

We are continuing to look into this issue. We think it is some specific code which isn't scaling well to some specific new functionality.

i could get in first time last night ,..then not at all today,.. and now first time again, although the old 'failed to send game' followed by 'wrong turn' came back! .. but at least i took a turn lol! i still appreciate your efforts guys,.. when u make a game this good you're allowed the occasional slip up, in the quest of making it better. .. still no gypsy jazz soundtrack though! .. you're missing a trick

Can't connect at all to Panzer Corps, managed to get on to FoG after a very long delay. This isn't going well.

still can't get in today,.. had a tech guy come around and got rid of a lot of search bar add ons that are supposed to help,.. but still can't get in .. i'm playing campaign again! .. my buddies will think i'm avoiding them! .. still CAN get in BA though. :-/
