Post by GWE »

Hi, I have installed WINONCD 2012 and WINONCD 2009 and former I have installed WINONCD 2010 too. I have problem with the file CPDP.msi , I have installed the game "Panzer Corps" and this game want to have acces to the file CPDP.msi in this directory:
C:\Benutzer\Georg\AppData\Local\Temp\WZSE0.TMP\CPDECODERPACK_431\. I can´t play the game. Do you have a solution?

Hi welcome.
It seems that your system is having some conflicts with WinonCD and probably the Windows MCI that the game uses to play the sound and video files.
So any application, like Panzer Corps, who uses Windows MCI might have a problem in your system. WinonCD might have broken that Windows component.
Try to rename in Panzer Corps folder the "Video" subfolder to "_Video" and see if it works.

Hi VPaulus,

I try this solution and renamed the Video folder, but Panzer Corps tried to access CPDP.msi again, do you have an other hint?

Thanks in advance!

Panzer Corps don't use that installer, it's your system which "wants" Panzer Corps to use it.
So that might indicate a messed installation of something related with a Roxio product, in your case you're saying that have Winoncd.
You can also try to uninstall all your Roxio software and see what happens. But I suspect that something is really messed in your Windows.

You can try also renaming "Audio" to "_Audio" to see if it's codec related or not.
