As cool as the the unit images are, as an ole-gamer from yesteryear I struggle with them. They are perfect for games like Battle Academy, they seem to get lost in the terrain for more strategic games like Panzer Corps. I have a lot of trouble getting an overall disposition of the strategic situation at a glance. Much preferable to me is the traditional unit "counter" where eye-contact contrast is high.
I've ginned up a few counters for the Polish scenario as an example. But, it's a large task to do all the units and I wouldn't want to duplicate effort if someone has already done this.
Does anyone know if counters like these already exist for Panzer Corps units?
